There Is No Future In The Past

Future and past

If you look back too much, you’ll soon be heading that way. Stop looking at where you have been, and start looking at where you can be.
Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, Philippians 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

You are more likely to make mistakes, when you act only on the past. The man who waste toady lamenting yesterday, will waste tomorrow lamenting today.
The past is always going to be the way it was. Stop trying to change it.
Your future contains more happiness than any past you can remember. Believe that the best is yet to come.
“I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past.” When you dwell in the past you stop growing and start dying.

The first rule of happiness is avoid lengthy thinking on the past.
